CBX Solutions is pleased to offer employees Short-Term and Long-Term Disability Insurance plans as well as Basic Life & AD&D Insurance at no cost through The Hartford. Employees and their covered dependents are also eligible for additional Voluntary Life Insurance through The Hartford.

Basic Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D)
The company provides Basic Life and AD&D insurance to all benefits-eligible employees at no cost to the employee. It is important for employees to keep their beneficiaries up to date in Dayforce. This will help make a difficult time easier and ensure that the money is paid out quickly. The life insurance benefit will be paid to the employee’s designated beneficiary in the event of a death while covered under the plan. The AD&D would be paid in the event of loss of life or limb by accident while covered under the plan.

Voluntary Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D)
Benefits eligible employees have the option to purchase additional voluntary life and AD&D insurance through The Hartford. This coverage is paid by the employee and the premiums will depend on your age and the amount of coverage you elect. Premiums are visible when making your elections in Dayforce. If you enroll after your original eligibility period, your election may be subject to medical questions and evidence of insurability.

CBX Solutions offers long-term income protection through The Hartford in the event you become unable to work due to a non-work-related illness or injury. This benefit covers 60% of your monthly base salary up to $5,000. Benefit payments begin after 90 days of disability. Please see the summary plan description below for complete plan details.
